Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 August 2026

This is a draft prepared to reflect exactly what the QuickFix PC tool currently does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before publishing this publicly or taking payment from customers, have it checked by a qualified Malaysian lawyer.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using the QuickFix PC tool or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use QuickFix PC.

2. What QuickFix PC does

QuickFix PC is a tool that scans your Windows computer for common problems (such as power settings, startup programs, driver errors, disk health, and recent crashes) and uses AI to suggest plain-language explanations and fixes. Currently, QuickFix PC only suggests steps for you to try yourself — it does not automatically make changes to your computer without your direct action.

QuickFix PC does not:

  • Remove viruses or malware
  • Repair or replace physical hardware
  • Recover data from damaged or failed drives
  • Replace the need for professional, in-person repair when your PC cannot power on or boot into Windows at all

3. No guarantee of results

QuickFix PC provides troubleshooting guidance based on our best judgment and the diagnostic capability of the tool at the time you use it. We do not guarantee that any suggested step, fix, or diagnosis will resolve your issue. Whether a suggestion works depends on many factors outside our control, including the condition of your hardware, how the steps are carried out, and issues the tool is not able to detect. We aim to give you the most accurate guidance we can, not a promise of a specific outcome.

4. AI-generated advice

The diagnoses and suggestions you receive are generated by an AI system. AI-generated advice can be incorrect, incomplete, or not applicable to your specific situation. You are responsible for using your own judgment before following any suggested step, and you should back up important data before making changes to your computer based on our suggestions.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate descriptions of the problem you're experiencing
  • Back up important files before attempting any suggested fix
  • Use QuickFix PC only for its intended purpose of diagnosing your own computer
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the tool without our permission

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickFix PC and its operators are not liable for any loss of data, hardware damage, software issues, or other direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the tool or from following AI-generated suggestions. QuickFix PC is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind.

A liability disclaimer like this reduces but does not eliminate legal exposure. A lawyer can advise on whether this needs to be strengthened, particularly once the tool can execute fixes automatically rather than only suggesting them.

7. Pricing and subscriptions

QuickFix PC currently offers free diagnostic scans. Paid subscription tiers, if and when introduced, will be described separately with their own pricing, billing, and cancellation terms.

This section is a placeholder — update once your payment/subscription system is built.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use QuickFix PC to scan or attempt to diagnose a computer you do not own or do not have permission to access.

9. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time. You may stop using QuickFix PC at any time by uninstalling the tool.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the tool changes. Continued use of QuickFix PC after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
